About this product
This is the oil our therapists reach for when a body has been worked hard and needs to move again. It is a working preparation rather than a comfort one, made with balloon vine, vitex, veldt grape, giant milkweed, country mallow, castor, mimosa, guduchi and betel leaf.
Used with massage it supports muscle recovery and range of movement, and it helps with the stiffness that follows hard physical work or a long day held in one position. Students on residential programmes use it through the first fortnight, which is when Kalari asks the most of a body that is not used to it.
How to use it
Warm the oil slightly and massage into the muscle with the grain, working from the extremities inward. Give it twenty minutes before bathing. A hot shower afterwards does most of the remaining work.
